Benefits

Title Border

Green walls are a sure-fire way to enhance a building’s visuals, improve air quality as well as employee alertness and energy levels. Green walls (also commonly referred to as vertical gardens or living walls) are a wonderful solution for any property interested in improving their space with intrinsic benefits of nature.

Exterior

Green walls can provide a visual impact and focus or be used to obscure unsightly structure and spaces. Our designers aim to create a strikingly beautiful, unique and original work of art designed to best complement its surroundings.

Improved Air quality

Green walls are natural air-filters that metabolize harmful toxins while releasing oxygen, creating a cleaner, more invigorating work and living environment. At VertVista we have hundreds of different plants at our disposal. We always make sure that each of our green walls contains ample numbers of the plants which are best at improving air quality.

Noise reduction

Planted surfaces have low reflectivity and high absorption properties. Ambient noise is attenuated by the plants absorbing acoustic energy thus improving conditions for building occupants and pedestrians alike.

Dust suppression

Both Indoor and Outdoor green walls help suppress dust particles, improve air quality and filter the increasing pollution. This can lead to a reduction in respiratory illness.

Increases property value

Green walls are at the cutting edge of design trends. They have been featured in (or on) upper end hotels and restaurants, designer retail stores, chic spas, exclusive clubs, basically any place looking for distinction; something that makes them stand out from their competitors. Our green wall does just that.

Green/LEED Credits

The LEED program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, is an internationally recognized green building certification system to help convert the design, operation and construction of buildings into eco-friendly properties. The installation of green walls can earn buildings LEED points which, in turn, helps to increase a property’s value by creating a favourable perception of a structure with an improved carbon footprint

Thermal Insulation and Energy Saving

The interior and exterior living green walls function to cool the air in the warmer summer months by a process known as “evapotranspiration.” Exterior living green walls can reduce wall surface temperatures by as much as 10 degrees °C, resulting in significant energy savings and air conditioning costs
